Argeta products do not contain any pork
Following the latest reports on the findings of research done by German nutrition institute Bayerisches Landesamt für Gesundheit und Lebensmittelsicherheit saying that Argeta poultry pâtés, produced in Izola, contain pork meat, we would like to inform and assure you that neither the poultry pâté nor any other Argeta product contains pork meat or any ingredients of porcine origin.
Our statement can be confirmed by test results, which were obtained on 7th August 2009 by the independent research laboratory Gissel Institute in Hanover. They carried out the tests using the same methodology that was used by the German nutrition institute. The analysis was done on Argeta products from the same production series as those included in the analysis by the German nutrition institute, as well as from previous and subsequent ones. On the basis of its research, the Gissel Institute issued an official confirmation, stating that the Argeta products analyzed do not include pork. Aside from that, the Rewe company implemented its own research into Argeta products on the 4th August 2009, independently of Droga Kolinska. The research, which was carried out by Lebensmittel Untersuchung from Vienna, confirmed that Argeta products do not contain pork.
The above facts confirm that Droga Kolinska respects the halal certificates, which were issued by the Islamic Community in Slovenia and Bosnia and Herzegovina assuring that the Argeta products tested, including the Argeta poultry pâtés, are produced in accordance with the principles and demands of the halal standard and do not contain any pork.
Droga Kolinska regularly monitors all the materials used in the production of our products. Besides that, our production operates in accordance with the ISO and HACCP standards, which allows us to achieve high quality in our products.
