05.12.2008Changes in the management of the Droga Kolinska Group
At today's session, the Supervisory Board of Droga Kolinska d.d., Ljubljana appointed Mr Enzo Smrekar and Mr Branko Greganovič members of the Management Board. The new members of the Management Board, which now has four members, join existing Management Board member Ms Milena Štular and Management Board chairman Mr Slobodan Vučićević.

03.10.2008Podravka to be the new owner of the cereals range
Droga Kolinska and Podravka have agreed that as from 1 January 2009 the owner of the range of cereals sold under the Čoko and Čokolešnik brands will be Podravka d.d. On this date Podravka will take over all the brands and the corresponding assets. The sale of the cereals range will not affect Droga Kolinska employees in Mirna, who will continue to be involved in the production of products under the Bebi brand.
29.09.2008Orka to be the new owner of the pickled vegetables and sauce ranges
Droga Kolinska and Orka of Ljubljana have agreed that as of 1 January 2009 the owner of the pickled vegetables and sauce ranges sold under the Droga, Tomatina and Argo brands will be Orka d.o.o.. On this date Orka will take over all the brands and the corresponding assets, including all 29 workers employed on these product ranges.

09.09.2008Dr. Oetker the new owner of Regina and Royal brands
Droga Kolinska and international food group Dr. Oetker have agreed that as of 1 October 2008 the owner of the powdered product ranges sold under the Regina, Royal, Kremin, Sladki Prah and Citronka will be Dr. Oetker Slovenija. Dr. Oetker will take over all the brands and the corresponding assets. The product range did not employ any workers because the products were not produced at Droga Kolinska.
24.07.2008Droga Kolinska to sell properties on Šmartinska Cesta in Ljubljana to the highest bidder
Droga Kolinska has decided to sell properties on Ljubljana`s Šmartinska Cesta by means of an international call for bids. Production ceased some months ago at the sites which are the subject of the sale, as a result of the considerable reduction in the number of products following the sale of some of our smaller product ranges. The distribution centre on Središka Ulica, which currently employs 40 workers, will no longer be needed. Warehousing operations will be transferred from Ljubljana to the existing distribution centres in Izola and Rogaška Slatina.

It all began when the mythic winged horse Pegasus, enchanted by the beauty of the Slovenian landscape, flew too close to the ground and struck rocks near present-day Rogaška Slatina with his foot. This caused layers of soil to shift, allowing waters imprisoned in the earth`s crust for millions of years to burst out into daylight.
